A Japanese Valentine
a japanese valentine
What a lovely day. This was our very first Valentine's day together, which is crazy to think because (beware cheez straight ahead!) it feels like we have known each other forever. We celebrated this day the traditional Japanese way, which is..
The girl makes homei-choko (true feeling chocolate) and gives it to her true love with a proposal of being his Valentine. Then a month later, the boy accepts her proposal with a white gift, it can be anything from white chocolate to diamonds to pearls. So we will have to wait patiently together to see what goodness March 14th brings!
Above is a picture of my homemade peanut butter cups and the cute valentine I made him from a free download here. I love free and cute, Amy Moss is a genius and I am so happy that I discovered her blog. She posts lots of different freebies so load up friends!
To celebrate the day we joined our friends Natalie and Danny for a day at the Homestead Crater in Midway. I absolutely adore these two. Don't they look so in love?
Well ta-ta for now.
